New information on approved medicines

• Fasenra (benralizumab) – new indication
  Treatment of asthma, eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (a disease causing blood vessel inflammation) and hypereosinophilic syndrome (blood cells grow out of control) 

• Iclusig (ponatinib) – new indication 
  Treatment of leukaemia (a type of blood cancer) 

• Tepkinly (epcoritamab) – extension of indication
  Treatment of lymphoma (a type of blood cancer) 

Other EMA news and events

• A workshop on immune thrombocytopenia will be held on June 30, 2026 between 14:00-18:00. The workshop will discuss multi-stakeholder perspectives on the challenges in drug development, regulation and clinical practice in this disease. Registration is open until 22 June.
