Other EMA news and events
- A workshop on immune thrombocytopenia will be held on June 30, 2026 between 14:00-18:00. The workshop will provide a multi-stakeholder perspective on challenges in drug development, regulation and clinical practice in this disease. Registration is open until 22 June.
- EMA has launched a new pilot program to support breakthrough medical devices and in vitro diagnostics. The initiative aims to speed up patient access to highly innovative technologies by offering enhanced regulatory support and scientific advice, while maintaining high EU safety and performance standards.
