Publication of EHA Annual General Meeting 2026 minutes

The 2026 EHA Annual General Meeting (AGM), held on June 11 in Stockholm and online, brought together members from across the global hematology community, enabling broad participation and active engagement in shaping EHA’s future.

EHA President Konstanze Döhner opened the meeting with a reflection on the progress achieved in 2025, highlighting the collective impact of members, volunteers, and partners as outlined in the 2025 Annual Report. The financial report, presented by Treasurer Frank Leebeek, provided clear insight into EHA’s financial health and how members’ contributions are invested to support the association’s mission. The 2025 financial statements and 2026 budget were approved by the membership.

A guest presentation by Tobias Degsell on “Unlocking Excellence in Medicine” reinforced the importance of engagement, collaboration, trust, and diversity in driving meaningful progress in hematology.

Members also played a direct role in shaping EHA’s governance through the approval of updates to the Articles of Association. With strong participation in electronic voting, all proposed amendments were adopted, strengthening the organization’s foundations for the future.

Looking ahead, EHA remains committed to advancing knowledge sharing, supporting innovation, expanding collaboration, and promoting equitable access to hematology care. Members are encouraged to stay actively involved and continue contributing to EHA’s work and impact.
