Deadlines

The abstract submission is open as of January 1, 2022.
The abstract submission closes on March 1, 2022 (23:59 CET).
The abstract allocation announcement will be made by April 22, 2022.
The abstracts will be released on May 12, 2022 (16:00 CEST).
EHA never extends the abstract submission deadline, so please submit your abstract before the abstract submission closes on March 1, 2022 (23:59 CET).
The late-breaking abstract submission opens on May 6, 2022.
The late-breaking abstract submission closes on May 12; 09:00 (CEST).
The late-breaking abstract allocation announcement will be made by May 27, 2022.
The abstracts will be released on June 2, 2022 (16:00 CEST).
EHA never extends the late-breaking abstract submission deadline, so please submit your late-breaking abstract before the late-breaking abstract submission closes on May 12, 2022 (09:00 CEST).Submission
There is no maximum of abstracts each person can submit.
No, there is no maximum of authors that can be added to an abstract.
Yes, you can, but it can only be changed to one of the co-authors entered during the submission.
No, the presenting author does not have to be the submitting author.
Yes, but only until the abstract submission deadline of March 1, 2022 (23:59 CET).
Yes, but only until the abstract submission deadline of March 1, 2022 (23:59 CET). You can do so by logging on to the submission website and make the changes to your already submitted abstract. During review and after the notification e-mail has been sent, it is no longer possible to make changes to your abstract.

This depends on where it has been submitted. Please check the abstract submission terms of EHA and the other congress.
Yes, but please keep in mind that interim analysis of a prospective randomized clinical trial will usually be considered only if it is performed as planned in the original protocol and is statistically valid.
Yes, you can submit an encore abstract as long as you mention during the submission process where the abstract was previously presented.

Images can be uploaded in JPG, GIF or PNG.
Yes. It is possible to include a table in the abstract body in the category “methods” and “results”. The text within the table is then included in the character count of the abstract.

The accepted abstracts will be published in the EHA2022 Abstract Book, as an official supplement of HemaSphere.
The EHA2022 Abstract Book will be published shortly before the Congress starts.
The EHA2022 abstracts will be released via the EHA Library / EHA website on May 12, 2022 at 16:00 CEST. Please note that due to cache the abstracts can become visible with a delay for some individuals.Presentation

To assure the best quality of your poster, please note that the size is 134x90cm (landscape).
All e-posters must be uploaded as a PDF file, no other formats are accepted, should have one page only, must be in horizontal/landscape style, and can have audio narration (see below).
The (e)posters can be uploaded via the Online Faculty Portal, for which the presenting authors have received an individualized invitation.
Narration can be added to the poster, and should not exceed 5 minutes in length. There are two options to include narration: you can pre-record the audio and upload the file, or you can record it in the platform when adding your e-poster. For more instructions, click here.
A free poster printing service is available for the EHA2022 Hybrid Congress. This service is supported by our sponsors: Bristol Myers Squibb, Janssen, Genmab and Daiichi Sankyo. To make use of this service, posters have to be uploaded via the Online Faculty Portal before May 19, 2022 and can be picked up directly at the Congress centre.

The Poster Session & Welcome Reception will take place on Friday, June 10 from 16:30 - 17:45 CEST.
The date and time of the oral sessions have been confirmed in the notification letter to the submitting author.
Presenting authors have 15 minutes in total (10 minutes for your talk and 5 minutes for questions).

You need to have junior membership to be eligible for one of the grants, and have applied by March 1, 2022.
