Molecular Hematopoiesis Workshop

The goal of the workshop is to present and discuss the latest scientific results covering the field of molecular hematopoiesis, including signaling, normal and malignant hematopoietic stem cells, microenvironment, transcription and epigenetic regulation, acute malignancies, molecular and biochemistry bases of vulnerabilities and physiological modeling. The broad range of topics and the highly interactive format are appealing to both basic scientists and clinical investigators interested in translational research.

The Molecular Hematopoiesis Workshop @ EHA2022 Hybrid Congress is back!
Date & time: Friday, June 10 (08:00 - 11:15 CEST)

Chair: Thomas Mercher

  • Session 1: Signaling
    Chair: Kim De Keersmaecker
  • Session 2: Hematopoietic stem cells & their niche
    Chair: Michael Milsom
  • Session 3: Transcriptional and epigenetic regulation
    Chair: Ann Mullally

The workshop will be organized on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 08:00 - 11:15 CEST, the first day of the EHA2022 Hybrid Congress.

The 3-hour workshop will contain the following sessions:

  • Session 1: Signaling
  • Session 2: Hematopoietic stem cells & their niche
  • Session 3: Transcriptional and epigenetic regulation

Each speaker will have 5-7 minutes presentation + 5 minutes live Q&A with the panel and audience. Therefore, speakers will have to very briefly introduce the question addressed and avoid background to focus on unpublished novel approaches and experimental results only.

Based on the success of last year's edition, we are renewing the opportunity for you to submit a short summary of your most novel and exciting science for inclusion in the workshop, as one of the presentation slots.

Send a short summary by clicking below or directly to the organizers: Kim De Keersmaecker, Thomas Mercher, Michael Milsom or Ann Mullally.
Submission has closed

Junior faculty are strongly encouraged to participate and apply for a presentation in the workshop. This is a great place to present your latest work for a large international audience and get the chance to interact with world-class faculty and your peers.

The deadline for submitting your topic/abstract passed on April 12, 2022.

Selected speakers will be contacted by April 29, 2022 regarding the selection.

The Molecular Hematopoiesis Workshop is included in the regular EHA2022 registration fee, no additional registration is required.
