Online registration for the 24th Congress of the EHA will open on January 1, 2019 and will remain open until the last day of the congress - Sunday, June 16, 2019.

The delegate registration fee includes:

  • Public transport; your registration fee includes free use of public transport on the 4 congress days: Thursday, June 13 to Sunday, June 16

Registration fees

Please find below all information regarding the upcoming registration, fees and policies. All deadlines are according to Central European Summer Time.

After May 10, 2019 only credit card payments are accepted. Fees include VAT.
* EHA members who have paid their 2019 membership fee before May 24, 2019.
**Participants up to 36 years of age (born in 1983 or after).
***Junior Non-Member category is no longer available.


The registration fees include 21% VAT.


The Educational Updates in Hematology Book will only be made available via HemaSphere and the EHA Learning Center and will not be printed. Hard copies of the Abstract book can be purchased during the online registration process as of January 1, 2019. Additionally, abstracts will be made available on the website and in the mobile app.

Group registration

Hotel reservations for small groups:
Small group registrations (2 – 9 delegates) can be made via the small group online registration system as of January 1, 2019. This online group registration will allow you to make one payment and receive one invoice for multiple delegates.

For groups of 10 or more delegates:
For groups with 10 or more delegates, a request must be sent in writing to the congress secretariat as of January 1, 2019:

Invitation letter for visa application

All delegates requiring a letter of invitation for visa application purposes may request this letter during the online registration. We will not be able to issue any letter of invitation without receiving the registration and the payment of the required registration fees. Please note that the organizers will not be able to contact or intervene with any Embassy or Consulate office on behalf of a delegate.

Should your visa application be declined, you can send a request for a full refund of the registration fees to congress secretariat by e-mail ( before May 10, 2019. A scanned copy of the visa decline letter should be attached to your request. For requests received after May 10, 2019, the cancellation policy for general congress registrations will apply.

Payment of registration fees

Payment by credit card
The online registration platform is a secured site. VISA, Eurocard/MasterCard and American Express are the only credit cards accepted. Upon completion of the online registration process, you will receive a paid invoice (receipt) by email.

Payment by bank transfer
Upon completion of the online registration process, you will receive an unpaid invoice for your registration fees by email. This invoice includes all payment instructions as well as your registration number to mention as reference of the payment. Upon receipt of your payment, your registration will be confirmed to you by email. Please be informed that a fee of €5 will apply for paying by bank transfer. Please note that payment by bank transfer and Purchase of order is only accepted until May 10, 2019. After this date, only credit card payments will be accepted.

Name changes

Name changes will be accepted free of charge until May 10, 2019. After this date a name change fee of € 30 will be imposed. The previously booked registration items will be automatically taken over to the replacing person's registration.

Cancellation of registration

The deadline for cancellation of registration is May 10, 2019. The congress secretariat should be notified in writing. Refund of paid registration fees, minus € 100 administration charges will be made after the congress. Please note that no refunds will be made after May 10, 2019.
