"We have been contributing to the annual congress of EHA through several activities catered to early-career scientists and physicians, like the YoungEHA experimental research meeting and YoungEHA sessions...All available online, on-demand, until October!" "I'm sure there is going to be amazing hematology-related science discussed.. most of the talks will be given by young PhDs/PostDocs. We envision this day to be a way to connect with each other through the live Q&A sessions and also social media!" "On June 18  a special session will be held on coagulation disorders, which will also include some of the newest insights on all the thrombosis we see in COVID-19 patients. This is one of the most important problems of these patients – so I hope you will join these sessions."

"The YoungEHA Research Meeting gathers a large number of early-career scientists..High-quality, unpublished data are presented by PostDocs, and PhD students …One important goal of this meeting is to provide an opportunity for early-career scientists to connect with their peers and interact with leaders in the field"  "Our first (YoungEHA) session is devoted to Digital Medicine where we will be looking behind the scenes of AI-based medicine. From a clinician's perspective, I find it interesting to see how algorithm-driven workflows aid in our routine clinical work in diagnostics and therapy decision making." "The YoungEHA Research Meeting is completely free-of-charge and features talks on basic and translational science in hematology. This includes a live discussion with the speakers. I very much encourage biologists and basic science researchers to attend."

"The first YoungEHA session on Saturday (Jun 13), will be on AI and Digital Medicine (focusing on) the unexpected and almost endless possibilities - but also challenges - with regards to the diagnostic approach and it’s clinical implications. The sessions will show different perspectives of digital medicine and how our patients’ lives, including diagnosis, treatment and research of hematological diseases, are and will be influenced in the near future." "As you may already be aware, this year’s EHA Annual Congress will be one of a kind and happen entirely online. Although the format has changed, huge efforts have been made to ensure that the content will be of the highest standard. I will particularly like to draw your attention to the YoungEHA track, which will kick of with the YoungEHA meeting on 11 Jun, and will include other sessions on the 13 and 21st of June as well." "The congress is an amazing event for basic and translational researchers: As a member of the YoungEHA community, it’s a special pleasure to highlight 2 relevant sessions. First is the YoungEHA research meeting happening at the very first day of the congress (Jun 11). There will be plenty of talks from talented young researchers, and several keynote, international speakers, all covering various aspects."
