Program Attendance

Successful applicants must attend in full the following three TRTH meetings:

  • Spring Course: 12–19 March 2027, Paris, France (In-person, 8-day course; full attendance and stay at the venue are required)
  • EHA Congress 2027: 10–13 June 2027
  • 69th ASH Annual Meeting: December 2027

Costs

There is no registration or application fee. However, by applying, you agree to participate in all three meetings and respond to follow-up surveys in the future.

Travel and Accommodation

Spring Course

EHA will arrange and cover:

  • Travel: airfare (economy class) or train ticket (second class):
    • Up to €500 for participants based in Europe
    • Up to €1,500 for participants based outside Europe
  • Taxi transfers between the airport or train station and the venue
  • Accommodation
  • Meals

Please note that transportation from your home to the airport or train station is not covered.

EHA Congress

EHA will provide complimentary full congress registration to TRTH participants.

Travel and accommodation will be on a reimbursement basis, meaning participants will have to arrange both themselves and claim the costs afterwards.

If you are accepted into the program, the full TRTH Travel and Accommodation Policy will be shared with you. Please note that food, beverages, and taxi transfers will not be reimbursed.

Program conditions

  • You must be an EHA member or ASH member at the time of application submission and throughout the term of the award program.
  • If you’re selected for the course, you must attend all three meetings and stay in the venue during the Spring Course.
  • The award is for the individual applicant only, and no relatives or pets are allowed at the meeting venue.
  • You must be in possession of a valid passport and any permits needed to travel abroad.

As a participant, you are responsible for:

  • Arranging your own visa or travel authorization and ensuring you have valid travel documents for all TRTH meetings
  • Any additional hotel nights or airfare costs exceeding the stated limits
  • Travel costs between your home and the airport or train station

Researchfish

As a member of the TRTH cohort, you are required to submit information to Researchfish in the following year. Researchfish is used to track the impact of your award, including collaborations, publications, and subsequent funding.
