Do you have any results or data on Multiple Myeloma that were not handed in before the regular case report submission deadline? This is your final opportunity to submit your work for the 5th European CAR T-cell Meeting. Selected late breaking case reports will be integrated in Session 8 (Clinical Management of CAR-T Patients) and Session 12 (Failure of CAR-T - What is next?) as oral presentations.

Awards

Introduced in 2021 and after 2 editions, we are excited to announce the 3rd Emerging Investigators EHA-EBMT Joint Fellowship Awards in the Field of Cell Therapy and Immunotherapy 2023. Submitters under 40 years old at the time of the submission can apply for this award and the Scientific Programme Committee will select 3 winners. Winners will receive €10 000 and the opportunity to present their work on Day 1. This award is sponsored by EHA, EBMT, Gilead and Kite Oncology. Find more information and instructions here.

Nurses Abstracts

The 5th edition of the meeting introduces special abstract submission for the Nurses track. The selected abstract will be selected as posters and awarded with free registration to the event.

Case Reports

New for this year, we are accepting case reports for the 5th European CAR T-cell Meeting.

We would especially like to encourage Young* Investigators to submit a case report for the chance to be featured in the meeting program. Selected cases will be presented during the event in one of the following sessions:

*40 years old or younger than 40 years old at the time of submission.

Nurses Case Reports
This 5th edition of the European CAR T-cell Meeting has also opened case report submission for nurses. Selected case presenters will be integrated into the Nurses' Sessions on February 10, 2023. The main author of accepted case reports will be awarded a free registration to the meeting.

Case Report Topics:

  • Clinical case on adult lymphoma,
  • Clinical case on adult acute lymphoblastic leukemia, 
  • Clinical case on multiple myeloma,
  • Clinical case on pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia, 
  • Nurses: Ethically challenging cases.

Guidelines for preparing a Case Report:

  • Text limit: 300 words maximum,
  • Cases can be structured (e.g. Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusions),
  • Mention all the authors,
  • Include disclosures of the authors.

Please note that the submission of a Case Report constitutes a formal commitment by the author to attend the meeting in-person in Rotterdam (if accepted) and, if required, present it as an oral presentation, e-poster, or poster in the session and at time assigned by the Scientific Program Committee. Presenting authors of accepted cases will be allowed to register with the Early Bird registration discount fee, details of which will be shared in the acceptance letter. Other authors wishing to attend the meeting should complete their registration before December 9, 2022 to take advantage of the Early Bird registration discount fee.

Submission

Abstract and regular case report submission is closed.

Abstract submission is an important part of the 5th European CAR T-cell Meeting. As a participant, you will have the opportunity to submit an abstract for this meeting, and (if accepted) have the possibility to discuss it with the international faculty and your peers.

The abstracts will be reviewed and allocated by the Scientific Program Committee. Submitting authors will be informed about the allocation by the 17th of December 2021.

Please note that the submission of an abstract constitutes a formal commitment by the author to attend the meeting in Rotterdam (if the abstract is accepted) and, if required, present the abstract as an oral presentation or ePoster in the session and the time assigned by the Scientific Programme Committee. Presenting authors of accepted abstracts will be allowed to register for the early bird registration fee, for which the details will be shared in the acceptance letter. All other authors wishing to attend the meeting should register before December 9, 2022 to make use of the early registration fee.
