Highlights of Past EHA (HOPE) Asia 2023

EHA joined forces with the Indian Society of Hematology & Blood Transfusion (ISHBT) to organize the 5th edition of the Highlights of Past EHA (HOPE) Asia 2023 meeting.

At EHA we highly value international collaboration, and we aim to foster long-term relations with our national society partners. EHA teamed up with the Indian Society of Hematology & Blood Transfusion (ISHBT) to organize the annual Highlights of Past EHA (HOPE) meeting in India. In addition, various partner societies from the region will be invited to participate and join the international audience onsite.

Program

HOPE Asia 2023 aimed to bring the key messages from various fields of hematology of the EHA2023 Congress to Asia. As such, together with the hosting partner ISHBT and hematology societies from various countries in the region, EHA compiled a program tailored to the needs of the local hematologists. The program provided a selection of the most important education and scientific sessions of the EHA Congress, tailored to the needs of the local hematologist.

The program included the following topics:

  • Acute myeloid leukemia

  • Non-malignant hematology

  • Lymphoma

  • Myeloma

  • Chronic myeloid leukemia

  • Stem cell transplantation

  • Myelodysplastic syndromes

  • Laboratory hematology

  • Acute lymphoblastic leukemia

  • Thrombosis & hemostasis

Abstract submission

Participants had  the opportunity to submit an abstract. Selected abstracts were presented as an e-poster during the meeting.
