The Fundraising & Sponsor Committee (F&SC) is responsible for generating financial resources to support EHA’s activities. We do this by:
- Ensuring EHA has an attractive sponsor program
- Diversifying income sources by launching new sponsor programs
The F&SC serves as an advisory body to the EHA Board and works closely with the EHA Office and other EHA committees.
Responsibilities
- Attract sponsors to support the EHA.
- Actively promote EHA’s sponsor programs towards industry.
- On an annual basis, define EHA’s sponsor programs in terms of benefits and obligations.
- Build relationships with new sponsors and maintain connections with existing ones by meeting them and providing sponsor contacts to the EHA Office.
Composition
We’re comprised of the following:
- A Chair (EHA Board member)
- A Vice-Chair (non-Board member)
- Two Board members
- Two representatives, EHA Education Committee (non-Board members)
- An SWG Committee representative
- A Research Committee representative (non-Board member)
- Two regular members
Rotation
The Chair and Vice Chair serve for a maximum of three years.
Members representing a committee, sub-committee, or the Board serve according to that body’s rotation schedule.
Regular members serve for a maximum of three years with the possibility of one reappointment.
Meetings
In a typical year, our members take part in:
- An interview meeting
- Regular teleconferences
