Our guidelines initiative
We want our work to help drive the diagnosis and treatment of hematologic diseases.
One of the ways we do this is through the creation of clinical practice guidelines.
Our clinical practice guidelines initiative began in 2019 when we:
- Established the EHA Guidelines Committee
- Created the EHA Methodology for Guidelines
Since then, in addition to developing our own guidelines, we have collaborated with partner societies to create guidelines:
- The ESMO (European Society for Medical Oncology)
- EuNet-INNOCHRON
- EuroBloodNet
- The British Society of Hematology (BSH)
- The International Society of Amyloidosis (ISA)
- The European Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders (EAHAD)
- The International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH)
We also actively promote constructive collaborations with:
- EHA’s Specialized Working Groups
- Other medical societies and associations
Please note that we’re not accepting endorsement requests until the end of 2025.
