How to apply to join an SWG

A step-by-step guide to applying for specialized working group (SWG) membership.

1. Go to the MyEHA Portal

To apply for an SWG, you must be registered on the MyEHA Platform.

MyEHA is EHA’s membership platform. You can use it to:

  • Manage your membership
  • Discover and access our range of online resources
  • Update your profile
  • Register for EHA events
  • Apply to become a part of Specialized Working Groups (SWGs).

This can be done via clicking this link MyEHA, or visiting the EHA website https://ehaweb.org/, and in the upper right-hand corner, you can see the “Login” button.

2. Create or access your MyEHA account

If you do not have an account

If this is your first experience with the MyEHA platform, you’ll need to create an account. To do this, please select the ‘Create a MyEHA account’ button and fill in the information required by the system.

If you already have an account

If you already have an account, please enter your credentials and press the button that says “Log in to MyEHA.”

If you’ve forgotten your password

If you already have an account and have forgotten your password, you can easily retrieve it. To do this, select ‘Reset Password’ and follow the steps requested by the system.

3. Apply for an SWG

Access the SWG application page

Once you’ve logged into the MyEHA platform, you’ll see the tab ‘Committees & Units’ at the top of your screen. Select this option to see the overview of the groups you are already a member of. Click on “Apply to join SWG” to create a new SWG application.

Select the SWG you would like to apply to from the drop-down list.

There are three compulsory fields collected to complete an application:
• Motivation
• Main field of interest
• Areas of specialty

The applicant must then upload their CV (compulsory, only in pdf format) and click “Submit.”

After you’ve submitted your application

You can track the status of the application in the My Applications tab.

Once the SWG Chair and/or Vice-Chair has evaluated it, you’ll receive an email. Please be aware that the process might take some time depending on ongoing initiatives organized by the SWG. If you have any questions, please email our SWGs team.

EHA membership

You must be an EHA member to join an SWG. If your application is approved, please make sure that you’ve paid for your EHA membership. Once your EHA membership is activated, you will have access to all SWG communications and can participate in SWG meetings.
