EHA-Balkan Hematology Day 2025

EHA is joining forces with the national societies from the Balkan countries and co-organizing with them the 6th edition of the EHA-Balkan Hematology Day. The meeting will focus on "Lymphomas" and will take place in conjunction the National Congress of the Macedonian Hematology Association (ZHM) from April 24-26, 2025 and will focus on education and research in a few selected areas of hematology.

At EHA we highly value international collaboration, and we aim to foster long-term relations with our national society partners. EHA is teaming up with the national societies of the Balkan region on the previously existing Balkan Hematology Day, and transforming the program by bringing in experts from other European countries.

Program

The EHA-Balkan Hematology Day program on April 25 will focus on various types of lymphoma that are prevalent in the region and the following main topics will be covered:

  • Mantle-cell lymphoma (Indolent and non-Hodgkin lymphoma)
  • Hodgkin lymphoma
  • Large B cell lymphomas
  • Marginal Zone Lymphoma

The program will include presentations from international keynotes, in addition to case presentations by speakers from the Balkan region followed by time for discussion.

On April 24 there will be various satellite symposia organized for national and regional attendees, and on April 26 the National Congress program will take place.

Registration for the 6th EHA-Balkan Hematology Day is open.

Registration includes access to the EHA-Balkan Day 2025 and National Congress scientific sessions, lunch, coffee breaks and printed materials.

*Registration is free of charge for members of the Macedonian Hematology Association (ZHM) who paid their annual fee.

Venue

The meeting will take place in the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts (Boulevard Krste Petkov Misirkov, Skopje 1000, North-Macedonia).
