EHA and the Topics-in-Focus Taskforce on Hemoglobinopathies are working with the Nigerian Society of Haematology and Blood Transfusion (NSHBT) to organize a webinar on Sickle Cell Disease (SCD).

Goal of the meeting
During this 90-minute webinar, experts will present different clinical cases of various patients who have SCD. The goal is to give participants an understanding of the prevention and treatment of iron overload, stroke, and red cell alloimmunization in patients with SCD.
After the presentation, there will be a discussion of the different regional approaches with an expert from Europe and an expert from Africa.
Target audience
Hematologists based in Europe or Africa with a special interest in SCD.
