Stakeholder Manager

Hematologic diseases afflict millions of Europeans each year. The European Hematology Association (EHA), located in the heart of The Hague (the Netherlands), is a non-profit professional association serving clinicians and researchers with an active interest in hematology in Europe and beyond. Our mission is to promote excellence in patient care through education, research, and advocacy.

Hematology is a constantly evolving field. EHA helps its members stay at the forefront of developments by offering a structured educational program created by hematologists for hematologists. We also provide career development opportunities to help clinicians and researchers grow professionally and personally. Furthermore, EHA advocates for hematology and hematologists at local, European, and international levels.

EHA’s dedication to inclusivity and knowledge-sharing has fostered a dynamic network of professionals. We are more than just an association; we are a thriving community that promotes growth, mentorship, and innovation, transcending geographical and intellectual borders. We seek team members who are inspired by our mission, driven to achieve excellence, and possess the creativity needed to explore diverse income streams for sustainable, long-term growth.

Do you have a clear view of the European stakeholder network in hematology—from national to peer/sibling societies working in the field and in related specialties? Are you well informed about the patient advocacy and support networks in this field and/or do you have experience in working with these groups? Are you experienced in navigating complex inter-organizational as well as international dynamics, and would you like to contribute to the hematology landscape?

For our Engagement Team, we are looking for a Stakeholder Manager who:

  • Will lead the management of our extensive and growing stakeholder network
  • Can serve as a key contact to both internal and external organisations

About the role

You will be responsible for both developing and executing strategies to build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders in the field of hematology.

You will play a crucial role within the Engagement team of EHA by working with several stakeholders:

  • National societies—national-level hematology and related societies across disciplines
  • Patient advocacy groups—including associations and networks
  • Healthcare-associated professional groups—such as specialist nursing societies and carers networks
  • Other stakeholders in the field of hematology as identified by the management

The Stakeholder Manager reports to the Head of Engagement.
