Policy on double awarding
We want to support as many young investigators and clinicians as possible in their career development.
For this reason, we do not allow ‘double awarding.’
In general terms, this means that:
- If you win an EHA award, you cannot receive another award from us until it has ended
- Once your award has ended, you're free to apply for other opportunities
Rules if you have received an EHA Research Training award
If you have received an EHA Research Training award (CRTH, TRTH, or CBTH), you cannot apply for either of the items listed below.
- Another Research Training program during the course of the program, and for two years after the completion of the program. This rule is in place to allow the mentorship's impact on your research project to show. You should still be working on making that a success during the two-year interval.
- An EHA grant, if the grant period coincides with the course of the research training program. Please contact us at EHA-Grants@ecorys.com for further clarification based on your specific circumstances.
You can, however, apply for the bite-sized Master Class.
Rules if you have received an EHA grant
EHA offers a range of grants, including the Research Grant, Bilateral Collaborative Grant, Kick-off Grant, Research Mobility Grant, and Innovation Grant.
If you have received one of our grants, you cannot apply for the following whilst your grant period is active:
- Another EHA grant
- A travel grant for the EHA Congress—because your grant is already supposed to cover travel, registration, and accommodation for this event (except for Research Mobility Grant)
- A Research Training program
You can, however, apply for the bite-sized Master Class.
