Great new opportunity for the YoungEHA community!
by Dr Nuno Borges, YoungEHA committee

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has launched the 'Collaborating Expert Programme' - an initiative which aims to increase co-operation between European countries to improve research into medicinal products.

YoungEHA's Dr Lorenzo Brunetti, who represents the YoungEHA community in the EHA European Affairs Committee, says: "This programme will be of interest to members of our community, particularly PhD students. It is a guest programme where researchers are encouraged to perform research in regulatory science topics of public health interest. This is an unprecedented opportunity for participants to gain first-hand experience in a scientific EU agency and develop new skills. Successful applicants would be salaried by their home institution but hosted by the EMA."

As YoungEHA representation in other EHA committees expands - Dr A Kabanova in the Research Committee, Dr M Lauw in the Membership Committee, Dr A Maiques-Diaz in the SWG Committee, and Dr C Scharenberg in the Education Committee -, you can expect to see more opportunities developing for the early career clinicians and researchers in the future!
