About the role
As our Website Specialist, you are responsible for managing, optimizing, and evolving EHA’s website and related digital assets.
You ensure the site:
- Supports organizational goals
- Delivers a user-friendly experience
- Meets accessibility and compliance standards
- Integrates smoothly with our marketing and communications strategy
This role works closely with colleagues across Marketing, Communications, IT, and external vendors, and reports to the Head of Public Relations.

If you are a non-EU/EEA national, you must possess a valid work permit for the Netherlands.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily management, maintenance, and development of the EHA website.
- Ensure all content is up to date, accessible, aligned with EHA branding and style guidelines.
- Monitor and improve user experience and performance across devices.
- Conduct regular SEO and accessibility audits; implement improvements.
- Manage the CMS (WordPress), ensuring timely updates, backups, and security protocols.
- Analyze web traffic and engagement using Google Analytics; report insights and recommend actions.
- Lead website-related projects and collaborate cross-functionally on campaigns and digital initiatives.
- Maintain the website editorial calendar in collaboration with the Communications team.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and WCAG; stay current on digital best practices.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience in website management or web development.
- Proficiency with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress), HTML/CSS, SEO tools, and Google Analytics.
- Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across departments and with vendors.
- Analytical mindset and hands-on problem-solving abilities.
