We're also a member of the following alliances and partnerships.
BioMed Alliance
The 'BioMedical Alliance in Europe,' better known as the BioMed Alliance, is the collective voice for medical societies across Europe. As an engaged and leading member, EHA contributes to common efforts for better EU policy and legislation. For example, we lead the Alliance’s work on HTA.
The BioMed Alliance is presided by EHA board member Elizabeth Macintyre.
European Cancer Organisation (ECO)
ECO aims to reduce the burden of cancer, and improve outcomes and the quality of care for cancer patients. EHA is an active contributor by:
- Providing input for positioning on crucial legislative files
- Jointly advocating for better and more effective EU research policies
- Participating in joint work on digital health, inequalities in cancer care, and workforce mobility
European Alliance for Personalised Medicine (EAPM)
With EAPM, we advocate for the right treatment for the right patient, at the right time. EAPM's strength is bringing all stakeholders and decision makers around the table and influencing the agendas of the rotating Council of the EU presidencies.
