Breaking innovations in rare diseases are at the centre of this PROFILE Bootcamp, which brings together junior & senior researchers, clinicians, pharmaceutical industry and policymakers. Speakers will focus on the drivers of innovation, as well as on challenges encountered in developing diagnostics and treatments, designing clinical trials, establishing partnerships and ensuring access and affordability of orphan drugs.
PROFILE is a joint (public-private) doctoral training program geared towards the stratification and treatment of patients with the rare autoimmune disorder Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP). EHA is a partner in the PROFILE project, which is funded by the Horizon 2020 program of the European Union.
