SWG Educational Activities
2023 was a brainstorming year for the SWG.
As one of the smaller SWGs, we aimed to:
- Recruit new members
- Prepare the proposal for a scientific workshop
- Discuss new activities to be picked up now that the SWG has expanded with new members on board
June 2023
We approved seven new members, including six early-career principal investigators.
October 2023
We arranged an onboarding call with all new members and prioritized goals for 2024.
It was decided the main focus of the SWG will be to increase visibility by:
- Reaching out to national hematology societies, other SWGs, and Young EHA
- Creating content for the EHA community platform and social media
A subgroup of members volunteered to take on the latter task.
December 2023
In collaboration with the SWG on Aging and Hematology, we held a brainstorming meeting on the proposal of a scientific workshop in 2025.
