Community and Stakeholder Committee call for interest
The Community and Stakeholder Committee (CSC) serves as an advisory body to the EHA Board and works closely with the EHA Office and other committees.
The mission of the CSC is to promote the value of EHA and its membership offer, and to:
- Provide guidance for membership recruitment, retention, and growth strategies
- Help identify ways to engage EHA members actively
- Help build active online communities
- Develop close relationships and collaborative opportunities with national societies and sibling societies
- Aim to share knowledge and information with hematology communities in less-resourced countries, both inside and outside Europe
- Look to create new opportunities for all stakeholders, including patients, nurses, and pharma

This year, we are looking for one new CSC member.
Profile
- Experience in medical education, preferably in/for resource-strained countries.
- Actively maintains connections with hematologists/hematology societies outside of Europe, particularly in South America, Africa, and/or Asia.
Workload
Meetings
Available to attend at least 75% of the committee's:
- Virtual meetings
- Face-to-face meetings (two full-day meetings in The Hague per year and a one-hour meeting at the annual EHA Congress)
Able to participate in leadership meetings or video conferences with partners (variable per person and month).
If applicable, willing to travel to and present at outreach meetings and activities (Tutorials, HOPEs, etc.).
Offline work
In addition to the above meetings, approximately two to three hours per month of reviewing:
- Programs
- Scholarship applications
- Other activity-related content
Appointment period
The appointment will last for three years, with the possibility of one reappointment.
