Streamlining SoHO Management in EU Hospitals
The European Commission's Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE) is committed to improving the management of Substances of Human Origin (SoHO) in EU hospitals. This includes ensuring compliance with the recently proposed Regulation on standards of quality and safety for SoHO, which will come into effect by 2027.
ReaderSHip Project and Survey
To achieve this goal, DG SANTE has commissioned NTT DATA to lead the ReaderSHip project. This project aims to develop an optimal model for administrative and legal support related to SoHO in hospitals.
Your Voice Matters
As part of this project, DG SANTE has launched a survey to assess current SoHO management practices across the EU. This survey is open to hospital managers and all professionals involved in the daily use of SoHO.
