Organizers
Chair:
- Michael Milsom (Germany)
Co-chairs:
- Kim De Keersmaecker (Belgium)
- Elisa Laurenti (United Kingdom)
- Britta Will (United States)
Program
The workshop will take place on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 08:00 – 11:30 CEST at the EHA2026 Congress. The 3-hour workshop will feature talks with time for open discussion. There will also be networking opportunities with speakers between sessions and at the end of the workshop. Attendance at the workshop is free for all individuals registered to the EHA Annual Congress.
The goal of the workshop is to present and discuss the latest scientific results covering a broad range of topics relating to the field of molecular hematopoiesis. Previous iterations of the workshop have included work focused on stem cell and progenitor biology; hematologic malignancies; non-malignant diseased hematopoiesis; cell signaling; developmental hematopoiesis, inflammation, infection and stress; epigenome and epitranscriptome; aging, clonal hematopoiesis and pre-malignant hematopoiesis; gene therapy; metabolism, microenvironment; and novel technologies. Each speaker will give a short talk, followed by time for discussion. The broad range of topics and the highly interactive format make this a great place to present your latest work for a large international audience and have the chance to interact with world-class colleagues. The workshop is aimed at an audience of both basic scientists and clinical investigators interested in translational research.
Junior and more advanced faculty, as well as senior post-doctoral fellows, particularly those in transition to their next career step, are strongly encouraged to apply for a presentation in the workshop.
To facilitate the workshop format, we strongly encourage in-person attendance in Stockholm. Selected speakers will receive complimentary registration for the EHA Annual Congress, as well as travel and hotel support.
