Specialized Working Group on Genetic Predisposition to Blood Cancer (Rare Diseases)

Overview

The GPBC SWG facilitates the exchange of knowledge through:  

  • Sharing and extending clinical knowledge on the diagnosis and treatment of hematologic malignancies with germline predisposition 
  • Generating an accessible network of databases and biobanks with documentation of genetic defects and clinical phenotypes of these disorders 
  • Promoting scientific research into the mechanisms driving malignant transformation in germline predisposition
