HemaSphere is EHA’s open access journal. It publishes highly relevant basic, translational, and clinical research in hematology—with a particular focus on novel findings that have a high impact. 

The role of the HemaSphere Editorial Board is to: 

  • Guide the quality and growth of HemaSphere 
  • Maintain HemaSphere’s position as a reputable society journal for European hematology research and related news 

The board is led by the Editor-in-Chief. 

Responsibilities 

  • Review and select articles. 
  • Promote HemaSphere within the hematology and medical communities. 
  • Represent HemaSphere at various events. 

Composition  

We’re comprised of the following: 

  • An Editor-in-Chief 
  • A Deputy Editor-in-Chief 
  • Up to fifteen Associate Editors 
  • Up to six Scientific Editors 
  • One Statistics Editor 

Rotation 

All members serve for three years with the possibility of one reappointment.

Meetings 

In a typical year, our members take part in: 

  • Two to three in-person meetings 
  • Regular virtual meetings
