How to apply

Your EHA Portal account

To apply, you must be registered on the EHA Portal.  

You do not need to create a new EHA Portal account if you’ve:  

  • Received an EHA Research Grant in the past five years. 
  • Applied for any other EHA opportunity through the EHA Portal

Already have an account?

If you already have an EHA Portal account, you can either log in using your existing credentials or select ‘Reset or create password’ if you cannot remember your details. 

When you log in, make sure you use the email address that EHA has on file.  

No account yet?

If you do not have an EHA Portal account, go to the EHA Portal and follow the steps under the ‘Create your user profile’ heading.  

Turnaround times

Please keep in mind that, once you register, it may take up to two business days before your registration is processed and you get access to the system.  

Registrations are approved from Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 18:00, Amsterdam time. 

Costs 

There is no registration or application fee. However, by applying, you agree to participate in the meeting and respond to follow-up surveys in the future.  

For the course workshop, EHA and EMBO will arrange and cover:  

  • Accommodation, food, and technical facilities   
  • An economy class airfare of up to €500

As a participant, you’ll be responsible for:  

  • Arranging your own visa and valid travel documents that allow you to attend the course workshop 
  • The costs of any airport transfers to and from your home to the airport/train station  

What to submit

As part of your registration, please submit:

  • A CV (no more than two pages long). 
  • A motivation statement (no more than 250 words).
