Research Committee call for interest
The overarching aim of the Research Committee is to further strengthen EHA’s interactions with and relevance for the wider hematological research community. It does this by:
- Improving existing activities
- Developing new initiatives
The committee coordinates, integrates, and promotes research activities (basic, translational, and clinical) across all EHA initiatives, including:
- Specialized Working Groups (SWGs)
- Fellowships and grants
- The Translational Research Training in Hematology (TRTH) program
- The Clinical Research Training in Hematology (CRTH) program
- The Computational Biology Training in Hematology (CBTH) program
It oversees the respective committees, and also provides inputs to:
- European Affairs
- Young EHA
- The annual EHA Congress
- HemaSphere, EHA's journal
- Research projects with EHA participation
This year, we are seeking two motivated, high-profile researchers in hematology.
Profile
- High-profile researcher (fundamental/basic or translational/clinical research) and established group leader in hematology.
- Committed to playing an active role in supporting and innovating hematology research in Europe.
- Enthusiastic about making a contribution and achieving the objectives of EHA.
In order to involve a broader representation of the membership, we are looking for new Research Committee members who are not currently active in EHA as Board members.
