SWG Grant-funded projects, 2026

From August to October, 2025, SWGs were invited to develop project ideas and apply for a 2026 SWG Grant.

For the 2026 call, EHA offered five grants, each worth €30,000.

Applications

We received 25 different applications from nine SWGs. This was ten more applications than we received in 2024 and fourteen more than in 2023.

These applications came from the:

  • SWG on Adult Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) (1 application)
  • SWG on Aging in Hematology (1 application)
  • SWG on Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) (1 application)
  • SWG on European Research Initiative on CLL (ERIC) (1 application)
  • SWG on Immune Therapies for Hematologic Disorders (2 applications)
  • SWG on Infections in Hematology (1 application)
  • SWG on Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) (7 applications)
  • SWG on Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) and Red Cells and Iron Joint Application (1 application)
  • SWG on Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPN) (3 applications)
  • SWG on Quality of Life and Symptoms (QLS) (1 application)
  • SWG on Red Cells and Iron (3 applications)
  • SWG on Thrombocytopenias and Platelet Function Disorders (TPFD) (2 applications)
  • SWG on Transfusion and Bleeding & Thrombosis Joint Application (1 application)
