SWG Grant-funded projects, 2024
In November and December of 2023, SWGs were invited to develop project ideas and apply for a 2024 SWG Grant.
Applications
We received 11 different applications from nine SWGs–two more applications than in 2022.
Applications came from:
- Immune Therapies for Hematologic Disorders SWG (one application)
- Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) SWG (three applications)
- Infections in Hematology SWG (one application)
- Granulocytes and Constitutional Marrow Failure Disorders SWG (one application)
- EHA Lymphoma Group (one application)
- Red Cells and Iron SWG (one application)
- Myeloproliferative Neoplasms SWG (one application)
- Pediatric Hematology SWG (one application)
- Thrombocytopenia and Platelet Function Disorders SWG (one application)
The winners
After careful consideration and much discussion, the SWG Committee selected the following applications to receive grant funding:
- CAR NK-cells project (SWG on Immune Therapies for Hematologic Disorders)
- European registry on inherited platelet disorders project (SWG on Thrombocytopenia and Platelet Function Disorders)
- Long-lasting, late-onset, and chronic idiopathic neutropenia project (SWG on Granulocytes and Constitutional Marrow Failure Disorders)
