Job description

We have a rewarding opportunity for an enthusiastic young professional to join our dynamic team of marketing experts in a healthcare environment. This internship is designed for students who want to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing implementation, integrated campaign planning, and strategic marketing activities that span the entire marketing spectrum. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning & Strategy: Contribute to the development of integrated marketing plans aligned with organizational goals. 

  • Implementation Support: Assist in executing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels (social media, email, web). 

  • Content Coordination: Support content creation and scheduling for digital platforms, ensuring brand consistency. 

  • Platform management: Focused management of EHA’s Community Platform. Nurture the existing EHA CP community, apply regular platform updates and recommend improvements. 

  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor campaign performance, compile reports, and provide insights for optimization. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of marketing activities. 

  • Market Research: Conduct research on trends, competitors, and audience behavior to inform strategy.

  • An internship allowance of €775 gross (based on 40 hours). 

  • An internship duration of 3-6 months (based on availability) and a workweek of 32 - 40 hours.

Job requirements

  • Only candidates who are registered at an Educational Institute and live in the Netherlands will be considered. If you are a non-EU/EEA national, a valid work permit for the Netherlands is required.

  • Employment will be subject to the dissolving condition that the employee provides the employer with a valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG) within eight weeks of the commencement date of their employment. 

  • Availability to join us on March 30 (or around that date) for a minimum of three months. 

Specific requirements for this internship

You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Marketing, Digital Media or a related field or Vocational or applied sciences programs (HBO) in Marketing, Media, or Commercial Economics. This is a ‘meewerkstage’ designed to gain work experience and is not suitable for students writing their graduation thesis. 

Knowledge  

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and social media management.  

  • Marketing basics: brand positioning, messaging and narrative building, marketing mix, 6Ps, AIDA. 

  • Familiarity with e-mail marketing, SEO, content creation, and analytics tools is a plus. 

  • Up to date with the latest social media trends, influencers, and brand activations. 

Skills 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English on first language level. 

  • Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Collaborative mindset and proactive attitude. 

  • Enthusiasm for learning and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Strong desk research skills. 

  • Curiosity and ‘can-do’ attitude. 

  • Nice-to-haves: photo/video creation and/or editing skills.
