EHA is joining the Serbian Hematology Association (SHA) and the Hematology Section of the Serbian Medical Society (SMS) to organize the EHA-SHA-SMS Balkan Hematology Tutorial on Non-malignant Disorders.

Goal of the meeting
This EHA, SHA, and SMS-led hematology tutorial on non-malignant disorders aims to enhance healthcare professionals’ understanding of a broad range of hematological conditions, including bleeding disorders, anemia, thrombosis, and platelet disorders.
The goal of this educational meeting is to foster an environment of knowledge sharing that improves diagnosis, management, and public awareness of non-malignant hematological diseases in the region. The event also promotes early detection and intervention strategies.
By collaborating with national societies from Balkan countries, the meeting aims to build long-term relationships and strengthen international cooperation, ultimately supporting healthcare professionals and improving patient care in the field of non-malignant hematology.
Program
The EHA-SHA-SMS Balkan Hematology tutorial program is designed to help attendees better understand the non-malignant disorders. The program consists of international speakers and patient-based case examples from the region. The knowledge gained by attendees is then tested by the international speakers as well.

- Thrombosis (general & cancer associated)
- Disorders of iron metabolism / Hemolytic anemia
