The program includes:
- Lectures
- Case discussions
It also includes hands-on activities in various diagnostic techniques, such as:
- Cytomorphology
- Flow cytometry
- Molecular genetics
Participants will have the opportunity to interact with experts in the field and gain practical experience in the laboratory, enhancing their ability to implement accurate diagnosis for AML patients.
The program covers various aspects of AML, including:
- Genomic-based classification
- Prognostic markers
- Personalized treatments
- Cytomorphology
- Flow cytometry
- Molecular genetics
Learning objectives
- Learn standard and innovative approaches to apply integrated diagnostic models/algorithms for accurate diagnosis, disease classification, and risk stratification.
- Acquire the ability to plan the diagnostic work-up of acute myeloid leukemias to meet clinical needs and identify markers useful for risk stratification, and/or suitable for monitoring, and/or exploitable for personalized therapies.
Target audience
The preceptorship is aimed at:
- Hematology physicians
- Resident hematologists
- Biogists
- Biotechnologists
All participants will receive a certificate of completion.
