Essential information about taking part in our Computational Biology Training in Hematology (CBTH) program.
Meeting dates
Workshop 1
- Dates: Tuesday, April 14–Saturday, 16, 2026
- Venue: Germany
CBTH session at EHA Congress
- Dates: 11-14 June, 2026
- Venue: To be announced
The timing of the CBTH session has not yet been confirmed.
Workshop 2
- Dates: Tuesday, October 13–Saturday, 17, 2026
- Venue: Rome
Costs
There is no registration or application fee. However, by applying, you agree to participate in all three meetings and respond to follow-up surveys in the future.
Workshops 1 and 2
For both workshops, EHA and EMBL-EBI will arrange and cover:
- Accommodation, food, and technical facilities
- An economy class airfare of up to €500 (if you’re in Europe) or €1,500 (if you’re outside of Europe)—whatever is the most reasonable fare as quoted by EHA’s travel agent
As a participant, you’ll be responsible for:
- Arranging your own visa and valid travel documents that allow you to attend all CBTH meetings
- The costs of any airport transfers to and from your home to the airport/train station
Meeting at EHA Congress
For the session at the EHA Congress, EHA will cover:
- An economy class airfare of up to €500 (if you’re within Europe) or €1,500 (if you’re outside Europe)—whatever is the most reasonable fare as quoted by EHA’s travel agent
- Five nights of accommodation in a designated hotel
As a participant, you’ll be responsible for any additional hotel nights and airfare costs above the established allowable amounts.
If you’re accepted for the program, we’ll share the full CBTH travel policy with you.
Program conditions
- You must be an EHA member at the time of application submission and throughout the term of the award program.
- If you’re selected for the course, you must attend all three meetings and stay in the venue during the workshops.
- The award is personal, and no relatives or pets are allowed at the meeting venue.
- You must be in possession of a valid passport and permits that allow you to travel abroad.
Researchfish
As a CBTH cohort member, you must submit to Researchfish the following year.
Researchfish will then track the impact of your award on collaborations, publications, and funding.
