EHA creates clinical practice guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of hematologic diseases. This initiative started in 2019 with the establishment of a Guidelines Committee and the definition the EHA Methodology for guidelines. Since then, in addition to developing its own guidelines, EHA has established a framework for collaboration with ESMO (European Society for Medical Oncology) to produce guidelines on hematologic malignancies.
