EHA-JSH Travel Grant
As part of EHA’s collaboration with the Japanese Society of Hematology (JSH), we’re pleased to offer the 2026 EHA-JSH Travel Grant Program. This is an opportunity to attend the 88th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Hematology, which will be held in Kyoto, Japan, in October 2026.
This initiative is designed to support young EHA members in attending JSH’s annual meeting, fostering cross-continental exchange and scientific growth.
Grant applications are now closed. We’ll notify successful applicants by the end of March 2026.
What the grant offers
- Free registration for the 88th JSH Annual Meeting, which will be held in Kyoto, Japan, from October 9–11, 2026.
- A financial award of up to €2,500 to support travel and accommodation.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for an EHA-JSH Travel Grant, you must:
- Under 40 at the time of JSH’s Annual Meeting in October 2026
- An EHA member who paid their 2026 membership fee
- Carrying out research in Europe.
- Must present an abstract during the JSH Annual Meeting (October 2026).
How to apply
Grant applications are now closed. The deadline for submitting an application was 23:59 CEST on March 1, 2026.
Selection and notification
After the application deadline, we’ll:
- Review submissions and forward abstracts to JSH
- Select up to five awardees
If you’re successful, you’ll receive a notification by the end of March 2026.
