As part of EHA’s collaboration with the Japanese Society of Hematology (JSH), we’re pleased to offer the 2025 EHA-JSH Travel Grant Program. This is an opportunity to attend the 87th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Hematology, which will be held in Kobe, Japan, in October 2025.
This initiative is designed to support young EHA members in attending JSH’s annual meeting, fostering cross-continental exchange and scientific growth.
What the grant offers
- Free registration for the 87th JSH Annual Meeting, which will be held in Kobe, Japan, from October 10–12, 2025.
- A financial award of up to €3,000 to support travel and accommodation.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for an EHA-JSH Travel Grant, you must:
- Be under 40 years old at the time of the JSH Annual Meeting
- Represent the early-career segment
- Hold an active EHA membership
- Be involved in conducting hematology research in Europe
- Submit and present an abstract at the JSH Annual Meeting
How to apply
The deadline for submitting an application was 23:59 CEST on August 18, 2025.
Selection and notification
After the application deadline, we’ll:
- Review submissions and forward abstracts to JSH
- Select up to five awardees
If you’re successful, you’ll receive a notification by August 25, 2025.
