Specialized Working Group on Bleeding and Thrombosis

Overview  

The Bleeding and Thrombosis SWG’s goal is to advance progress in hematology. We do this by promoting education in the field of blood coagulation, including mechanisms, prevention, and treatment of bleeding and thrombotic disorders.  

We are particularly concerned with raising awareness about thrombotic and hemorrhagic diseases amongst both patients and physicians. 

We promote networking and collaborations amongst scientists working on basic, clinical, and social aspects of these disorders—in Europe and beyond.
