Community & Stakeholder Committee member
The Community & Stakeholder Committee (CSC) serves as an advisory body to the EHA Board and works closely with the EHA Office and other EHA Committees.

The mission of the CSC is to promote the value of EHA and the EHA membership offer while also:
- Providing guidance on membership recruitment, retention, and growth strategies
- Helping identify ways to engage EHA members actively
- Helping build active online communities
- Developing close relationships and collaborative opportunities with National Societies and Sibling Societies
- Helping to share knowledge and information with hematology communities in less-resourced countries, both inside and outside Europe
- Create new opportunities for all stakeholders, including patients, nurses, and Pharma
We are looking for one Community & Stakeholder Committee member who meets the following criteria:
- Experience in medical education, preferably in/for resource-strained countries.
- Actively maintains connections with hematologists/hematology societies outside of Europe, particularly in South America, Africa, and/or Asia.
- Available to attend at least 75% of committee online and face-to-face meetings (a full-day meeting in The Hague, Netherlands twice per year and a one-hour meeting at the EHA Annual Congress).
Workload
The time commitment for a committee member is approximately 2-3 hours per month for:
- Reviewing programs, scholarship applications, and other activity-related content
- Participating in the committee meetings and video conferences
- Leadership meetings or video conferences with partners (variable per person & month)
- If applicable, traveling to and presenting at outreach meetings and activities (Tutorials, HOPE’s, etc.)
Appointment
Appointment is for a period of 3 years with the possibility of 1 reappointment.
