Education Committee members
The Education Committee (EC) promotes excellence in education aimed at hematologists around the globe by offering high quality learning programs online, in live meetings, as well as through blended methods. Harmonizing hematology education drives all of the EC’s programs, activities, and actions. The EC reports directly to the EHA Board and works closely with the EHA Executive Office and other EHA Committees.

We are looking for three Education Committee members who meet the following criteria:
- High-profile clinician, established group leader in hematology.
- Passionate about providing evidence-based education to European hematologists.
- Experienced in adult education, ideally evidenced by academic appointment or further study in medical education. Training in developing entrustable professional activities (EPAs) preferred.
- Available to attend at least 75% of committee online and face-to-face meetings (a full-day meeting in The Hague, Netherlands once per year and a one-hour meeting at the EHA Annual Congress).
Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in:
- Thrombosis and hemostasis.
- Lymphoid diseases.
- Clinical application of AI.
Workload
The time commitment for a committee member is approximately 3 hours per month.
Appointment
Appointment is for a period of 3 years with the possibility of 1 reappointment.
