SWG Committee members
The SWG Committee is a coordination body of the EHA Specialized Working Groups, which aims to strengthen relations and collaboration between SWGs and the EHA Board. As such, its members are selected from current EHA SWG members.

Tasks and responsibilities of the SWG Committee:
- Represent SWGs at the EHA leadership level.
- Bridge communications between SWGs and the EHA Board.
- Collect SWGs’ proposals on established and new activities.
- Approval of SWGs’ proposals according to the pre-allocated budget.
- Development and implementation of new projects based on EHA Board recommendations.
- Lobbying activities for EU research grants.
We are looking for three SWG Committee members who meet the following criteria:
- High-profile clinicians/clinician scientists, established group leaders in hematology.
- Current SWG and EHA members.
- Experts in lymphoid or myeloid diseases, multiple myeloma, transfusion, blood coagulation & hemostatic disorders, immunotherapy, or diagnostics in hematology.
- Passionate about shaping future development and engagement between EHA and EHA Specialized Working Groups.
- Experience in leading clinical trials.
- Familiar with the SWG framework and the activities EHA organizes for SWGs.
- Available to attend at least 75% of committee online and face-to-face meetings (a full-day meeting in The Hague, Netherlands twice per year and a one-hour meeting at the EHA Annual Congress).
Workload
The time commitment for a committee member is approximately 3 hours per month.
Appointment
Appointment is for a period of 3 years with the possibility of 1 reappointment.
