Goal of the meeting

This EHA-led Hematology Tutorial, focused on ‘Updates on Diagnosis and Management of Hematological Malignancies,’ is an educational meeting aimed at:

  • Deepening the knowledge of hematology trainees and fellows in the diagnosis and management of lymphoid and myeloid malignancy
  • Improving understanding of the recent innovation and new developments in the field
  • Building the network with local and international experts in furthering hematology care and research in the region

  • Use of molecular technologies for diagnosis and monitoring of hematological malignancies
  • Management of treatment resistant or relapsed acute myeloid leukemia
  • Current management of relapsed & refractory Acute Lymphoblastic leukemia
  • Management of treatment resistant CML
  • Modern therapy for Multiple Myeloma and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
  • Updated management of Hodgkin Lymphoma
  • Novel agents and autologous transplant in the management of treatment resistant T & B cell Lymphomas
  • Updates on cellular therapy: Application of ASCT and CART cell therapy
  • Hematological Malignancy Associated Coagulopathy

Learning objectives

After attending this tutorial, the participants will be able to:

  • Gain enhanced ability to diagnose and manage the patient of Myeloid and Lymphoid malignancy including common forms of B cell and T/NK cell lymphoma; and Hodgkin lymphoma, acute and chronic leukemia both in the frontline and relapse setting with frontline updated strategy
  • Benefit from the capability to choose between treatment options, novel agents, immunotherapy, or BMT appropriate to disease biology and patient profile
