SWG Grant-funded projects, 2024
In November and December of 2023, SWGs were invited to develop project ideas and apply for a 2024 SWG Grant.
Applications
We received 11 different applications from 9 SWGs. This was two more applications than we received in 2022.
These applications came from the:
- SWG on Immune Therapies for Hematologic Disorders (1 application)
- SWG on Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) (3 applications)
- SWG on Infections in Hematology (1 application)
- SWG on Granulocytes and Constitutional Marrow Failure Disorders (1 application)
- EHA Lymphoma Group (1 application)
- SWG on Red Cells and Iron (1 application)
- SWG on Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (1 application)
- SWG on Pediatric Hematology (1 application)
- SWG on Thrombocytopenia and Platelet Function Disorders (1 application)
Winners
All applications were reviewed against our selection criteria. This criteria is explained on the main SWG Grants page.
After careful consideration and fruitful discussion, the SWG Committee chose the following winners:
- CAR NK-cells project (SWG on Immune Therapies for Hematologic Disorders)
- European registry on inherited platelet disorders project (SWG on Thrombocytopenia and Platelet Function Disorders)
- Long-lasting, late-onset, and chronic idiopathic neutropenia project (SWG on Granulocytes and Constitutional Marrow Failure Disorders)
