CRTH 2027 application deadline

The call for CRTH 2027 applications will open on June 30, 2026.  The call will be open until September 15, 2026 (15:00 CET).

Before you begin

Make sure you’ve read: 

If you have not yet done so, you’ll also need to become an EHA member. Also make sure your mentor or other senior staff member is an EHA member.

EHA Portal account

To apply, you must be registered on the EHA Portal (Fluxx).  

If you already have an EHA Portal account

You can either: 

  • Log in using your existing credentials 
  • Select ‘Reset or create password’ if you cannot remember your details 

When you log in, make sure you use the email address that EHA has on file. Please note this is a separate login from the MyEHA environment.

If you do not have an EHA Portal account

Go to the EHA Portal and follow the steps under the ‘Create your user profile’ heading. 

Please keep in mind that, once you register, it may take up to two business days before your registration is processed and you get access to the system. 

Registrations are approved from Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 18:00, Amsterdam time. 

If you submit your application after the deadline date due to late EHA Portal registration, it will not be considered.

Application documents

To apply for CRTH, you should complete the application form on the EHA Portal and submit all the mandatory documents. You’ll find the instructions to guide you through the form on the portal and in the application check-list. 

In the application form, you’ll be asked about the following:

Institute details

  • Mentor contact details
  • Head of Department contact details
  • Mentor statement of support (max 2 pages)
  • Mentor CV (max 2 pages)
  • CRTH Signature letter (template mandatory)
  • Institute infrastructure

Applicant details

  • Clinical research profile
  • Motivation
  • Education & Employment details
  • Research projects for which the applicant is PI (incl brief description)
  • Abstract of your research (500 words)
  • Research proposal & references (max 5 pages + 1 page references)
  • Flowchart (optional)
  • Scholar CV (max 2 pages)
  • Career Development Plan (max 2 pages)

What happens after you apply

Your application will be evaluated by the CRTH Leadership Members, which is also responsible for the final selection of scholars.
