How to apply for TRTH 2026  

The application process for TRTH 2026 is managed by the American Society of Hematology (ASH).

Course overview

TRTH is a joint effort between EHA and the American Society of Hematology (ASH). If you’re an early-career hematological scientist, it can boost your development and help you grow a successful career in translational research.  

In particular, it’s an opportunity to: 

  • Participate in didactic and interactive sessions and further your understanding of translational and basic science methodology and career development 
  • Interact with mentors, peers, and faculty in small-group sessions and further refine your individual research proposals 
  • Learn from leaders in the field about the variety of pathways to a successful career in hematology research 

The program includes sections on: 

  • Principles of translational and basic science research 
  • Ethics in hematologic translational and basic science research 
  • Career development insight 
  • Small-group working sessions 
  • Presentation of research proposals

Who should apply

Our TRTH program is focused on helping early-career scientists who are: 

  • Actively employed in a hematology or hematology-related research environment 
  • Currently in classical or malignant hematology-related fellowship training
