Specialized Working Groups
EHA partners with Specialized Working Groups (SWGs) to foster science and to spread knowledge in basic, translational and clinical research in hematology in Europe.
In order to cover the full hematology field EHA-SWGs are structured according to a model with disease oriented topics e.g. leukemias and lymphomas as well as overarching topics e.g. aging and hematology and precision medicine. This model is based on the nine sections of the EHA Roadmap for European hematology research.
With this model EHA aims to provide a research platform for all groups and researchers.
EHA-SWGs are supported by EHA by providing session slots in its Annual Congress, organizing dedicated scientific meetings and facilitating a pilot project on guidelines. New activities will be explored to meet current developments and future needs in hematology research.
