EHA joins forces with the British Society of Haematology (BSH) & Annual Academy of Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Conference (ASCAT) in organizing the 19th Annual Sickle Cell & Thalassaemia Conference.

The Annual Scientific Conference on Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia (ASCAT) focuses on promoting the latest advances in diagnosis, treatment, and emerging fields in hemoglobinopathies. It is an opportunity to interact with peers on the latest advances in clinical care, transition services, and emerging new therapies including updates for curative treatment options.

Abstract submission

Abstract submission is an important part of this meeting. As a participant, you will have the opportunity to submit an abstract for this meeting, and (if accepted) have the possibility to discuss it with the international faculty and your peers as an oral presentation or poster.

Please select the most appropriate topic during the abstract & case submission:

  1. Basic and translational

  2. Novel therapies, gene therapies, bone marrow transplant and emerging diagnostics

  3. Clinical and epidemiological studies

  4. Infection, autoimmunity, nutritional deficiencies
