EHA-LSHBT Virtual Hematology Updates
EHA and the Lebanese Society of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (LSHBT) have initiated a webinar course dedicated to practitioners who manage patients with benign and hematologic malignancies. The course will provide them with the practical tools to translate emerging data into the best therapy for their patients, to personalize care, and to apply novel treatment strategies to improve patient outcomes.
The EHA-LSHBT Virtual Hematology Updates will run from March – October 2021 and take place live in Zoom Webinar. In the series of six 2,5 hour workshops, a panel including the two course chairs, Prof G Gaidano (EHA) and Prof A Taher (LSHBT) will address multiple benign and malignant hematology disorders through keynote presentations and patient cases. The content of each workshop will be available on-demand afterwards.

- Bleeding disorders & Multiple myeloma
- Hemophilia & Lymphoma
After attending this EHA-LSHBT Virtual Hematology Updates course, delegates will be able to:
- Provide up-to-date information regarding current and new standards of care in the treatment of benign and malignant hematologic disorders
- Discuss the latest advances in malignant hematology that will help improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
- Identify and discuss key advancements in the management of certain benign hematological disorders.
The main target audience is hematologists in North Africa & Middle East, but the course is open to attend for all.
Continuing Medical Education (CME) is widely accepted to encourage individual practitioners to maintain and develop professional knowledge and skills keeping up-to-date with latest developments within the field.
The EHA-LSHBT Virtual Hematology Updates are accredited by the EBAH system. Participants who join the live webinars of the EHA-LSHBT Virtual Hematology Series are eligible to receive 2.5 CME credit points per course. Participants who watch the on-demand recording of the webinar are eligible to receive one (1) CME point.
