  • Participation in creating the Overarching SWG on Diagnostics in hematology
  • Participation (P. Gresele, F. Rodeghiero) to chapter on “Thrombocytopenia” of the EHA booklet “Bedside hematology – rapid reference”, a project by EHA and YNSA (Young National Society Ambassadors), published on 2026
  • Participation in the ongoing EHA Guidelines initiative on Mild moderate bleeding disorders (Coordinator: F. Rodeghiero)
  • Completion of the International Survey on Gastrointestinal bleeding in Glanzmann Thrombastenia patients (CRFs collected from 479 GT patients from 49 investigators)
  • Official launch of the International Network of European Registries on Inherited Platelet Disorders (NERIPD), planned for the first semester of 2026
  • Completion and publication of results of the International Survey on gastrointestinal bleeding in Glanzmann Thrombasthenia patients (second semester of 2026)
  • Update of the International Guidelines on the diagnosis of inherited platelet function disorders (jointly with ISTH): approved, panel established: kick-off meeting on March 13th, 2026
  • Joint in-person EHA-SWG Scientific Meeting with ‘Bleeding and Thrombosis’ on “Bleeding and Platelet disorders: advances in pathophysiology, diagnosis and management”, Florence, Italy, 9-11 April 2026
  • European Rare Disease Research Alliance: project RECODE-GT (Resolving genotype-specific mechanisms of gastrointestinal angiodysplasia in Glanzmann thrombasthenia)– granted PI: Prof. Loredana Bury (2026-2028)
